Allow Apache/PHP on CentOS to connect to a remote database

Disable SELinux on CentOS

Should you decide to disable SELinux completely, then this is how you do it: Login in or switch user to root: su – Edit the config file: vi /etc/selinux/config Modify this setting: SELINUX=disabled Restart the system shutdown -r now
